- Act as a preceptor and resource for new and existing staff
- Optimize billing processes and educate providers
- Analyze findings for documentation improvement
- Demonstrate expertise in health systems operations and coding conventions
- Perform accurate chart reviews for Risk Adjustment coding
- Identify trends in provider coding and documentation
- Provide feedback on underperforming providers
- Collaborate with the MRA Department and assist in education efforts
- Deliver excellent guest service to team members and patients
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare-related field
- 3+ years of HCC Coding experience preferred
- Certified Procedural Coder (CPC), CRC designation preferred
- Proficient in 10-key, Word, and Excel
- Organizational skills with a focus on patient care tracking
- Proven knowledge of compliance and coding guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
