    Description

    Lead Powerhouse Operations: Assistant Plant Manager

    A fast-growing, nationwide energy company is on the lookout for an Assistant Plant Manager. As Assistant Plant Manager you will oversee, manage, and direct the day-to-day powerhouse & utilities O&M activities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operations and Maintenance Expertise: You'll oversee day-to-day operations & maintenance activities within the powerhouse including power generation equipment, compressed air, reverse osmosis, heat exchangers, and more.
    • Collaborative Leadership: Provide guidance for O&M Technicians (Union-employees) to ensure smooth operations and maintenance activities
    • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term plans for capital improvements to enhance plant infrastructure and efficiency
    • Safety Focus: Safety is the top priority You'll foster a culture of safety compliance while ensuring assets are operated effectively
    • Continuous Improvement Mindset: We're always looking for ways to improve Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives
    • Data-Driven Performance: Develop performance goals, conduct reviews, and leverage data to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 8+ years of relevant experience (power generation, utility systems & similar plant O&M activities)
    • 5+ years of supervisory experience (working in a Union setting is highly preferred)
    • O&M of plant equipment experience (gas turbine, HRSG, reverse osmosis systems, water treatment, electricity generation, compressed air, heat exchangers, etc.)
