    Position Title: Training and Development Specialist

    Location: Hybrid in Birmingham, AL (2 days/week remote)

    Position Status: Full Time – Direct Hire

    Travel: up to 25%

    Position Description:

    Our client is looking for Training and Development Specialist candidates for a hybrid position located in Birmingham, AL. The Training Specialist will assist in creating, tailoring, planning, and efficiently delivering training in multiple formats to include web-based platforms, regional on-site, and center specific visits. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and learning concepts, with an understanding of common business training techniques.

    Responsibilities:

    • training manager with identification and assessment of training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with management.
    • and facilitate effective and purposeful training methods.
    • management in developing individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs.
    • with management across the department to develop training manuals that target tangible results.
    • teammates based on development plans to facilitate strategic training based on the organization's goals.
    • to and assist the team to monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically.
    • for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity knowledge across the enterprise; ensure training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
    • the Operations team to distribute communications (memos, newsletters, website, etc) across the enterprise to streamline information.
    • across the department and enterprise we support by leveraging strong interpersonal skills to understand individual and group training needs.
    • recommendations to the training agenda or curriculum, as necessary.

    Required Education | Experience:

    • bachelor's degree in purchasing, operations, business, or equivalent experience.
    • years of relevant work experience in adult learning, training, or technical training/technical

    Required Skills:

    • of working collaboratively with subject matter experts and leaders to identify training needs, training curriculum, and develop resources that align with adult learning principles.

    • mindset with the ability to build strong relationships within the team and across the enterprise in support of key business growth and supply chain operations.
    • working knowledge of Microsoft applications and industry standard contract management, materials management, and reporting software;

    • with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)

    Desired Skills:

    • in healthcare industry experience preferred.
    • with Filmora and Tango preferred.
