Job summary
The Sushi Team Lead will effectively direct and supervise all activities of the Sushi department and personnel to achieve merchandising, sales and customer service goals established for the department.Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members is key in this role. Ensuring quality safety product shrink control is also important responsibilities of this position.
- Directing department personnel meeting departments goals objectives communicating directly with store director and sushi chefs.
- Ordering products supplies necessary to maintain adequate stock levels keep merchandising levels at deli bistro standards.
- Maintaining open communication with all members of deli bistro department catering department deli bistro manager executive chef.
- Cleaning sharpening sushi knives ensuring orders are completed on time customer satisfaction always giving genuine thank you providing selling suggestions active sampling product information engaging customers smiles greetings fun work environment nourish community.
