    Senior .NET Developer Opportunity



    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly motivated Senior .NET Developer to join our team in a remote position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing applications, developing new web applications, and collaborating with project managers, developers, business analysts, and functional team members.



    Key Responsibilities:

    • Complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for project assignments and participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
    • Work with technical and functional staff on detailed business requirements, understanding business processes, and technology agency standards, federal and state policies to align with project goals.
    • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
    • Use object-oriented techniques and best practices for design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
    • Develop code along with unit testing strategy plans.
    • Utilize Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported MVC framework, C# programming language, to develop applications.
    • Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure project plan is maintained and project milestones are being met.
    • Work with PM, technical staff, and end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet application needs.
    • Have the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate with ISDH external partners as needed.
    • Consider agency web applications architecture and business decisions when designing solutions.
    • Be able to work independently and under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment.

    The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
