    Position Overview:

    Job Title: Software Test Engineer

    About the Company: Belcan, a leading global provider of engineering, technical recruiting, and IT services, is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join their client in Tukwila, WA.

    Location: Tukwila, WA

    Payrate Range: $50 to $75 per hour DOE

    Start Date: Immediate

    Software Test Engineer Job Description:
    • Lead design and development of test campaigns for satellites and avionics through various testing methods
    • Execute test campaigns for the program, handle status updates, sprint planning, and task management
    • Lead embedded test teams in an agile environment for timely completion of testing
    • Define and implement unit and regression tests for components and subsystems
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on test plans and validation
    • Contribute to integration and testing for different components
    • Develop and execute automated and manual system tests
    • Manage production infrastructure and CI/CD systems
    • Support deployment of satellite and component emulations

    Requirements:
    • Must be a U.S. Person (US Citizen or Green Card holder)
    • Bachelor's or advanced degree in CS, CE, or EE
    • 4+ years of experience in testing embedded software, particularly in C for Embedded Linux
    • Proficient in Python for testing automation, expertise in C/C++, and CI/CD tools
    • Experience in software testing on custom hardware and development of hardware test benches
