- Advanced knowledge and experience of regulatory requirements of ISO and GMP.
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic fundamentals.
- Advanced skills in the use of power and hand tools.
- Minimum three (3) years related experience with prior technical training in a specialized
- field and/or work experience in maintenance or related field required.
- Four (4) years in an FDA regulated environment preferred.
- Work independently and continuously make decisions for various quality situations in
- fabricating and repairing equipment.
- Substantial initiative and judgment are required to
properly perform these job duties. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics required.
- HVAC or contractor certifications or licenses preferred.
- Electrical Certifications or Licenses strongly preferred.
- Work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety
precautions, e.g., working around moving machines in production facilities, handling of
hazardous testing and sanitation chemicals. - Protective clothing or gear such as goggles, gloves and shoes may be required.
Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence.
Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Mathematical Ability: Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of
Basic algebra and geometry. -
