    Under the direction of the Supervisor Housekeeping, the House Person is responsible for maintaining 5-Star, 5-Diamond rating experience for the overall cleanliness of all public areas in guest view on the guest floors and heart of house areas.

    Responsible for delivering guest request items in a professional and timely manner according to our Forbes standards.

    The House Person also collaborates, initiates, and supports opportunities with other functions by championing the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that faithfully reflects and upholds the Tribes vision, mission and values.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities1.

    Responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas in guest view including corridors, elevators landings, elevators, stairwells, including areas in heart of house such as service elevators, linen closets and storage rooms.

    Also responsible for restocking the housekeeping carts with linen, supplies and amenities, in addition to deep cleaning of guestrooms, carpet shampoo, water extraction and high dusting as assigned by the supervisor.2.

    Deliver guest request items within ten minutes in a courteous and professional manner, in accordance to our Forbes standards. Possesses the ability to carry an assigned radio and wear an earpiece discretely to communicate with team members.3.

    Ensures proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies by following OSHA rules and completing training for chemical usage, ensuring proper labeling of hazardous supplies in accordance with federal, state, local, and enterprise regulations.

    Ensures all equipment is maintained and used accordingly, while following health and safety guidelines and policies and procedures. 4. Proactively motivates employees to collaborate, learn, perform, and develop their skills.

    Works with a diverse team of well-trained team members by leading by example, empowering, sharing knowledge, and coaching throughout the employment lifecycle.

    Reports all maintenance issues pertaining to guest floors to the Office Coordinator and report all guest requests to the Supervisor or the Office Coordinator as needed.6.

    Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
    Education/Experience/QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is preferred.
    Minimum of two (2) years of Housekeeping experience within an upscale hotel is preferred.

    Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.

    Must have schedule flexibility including evenings, overnights, weekend, holiday shifts and overtime if needed.
    Good verbal and written communication skills required.
    Knowledge of housekeeping service techniques and productivity expectations.
    Ability to identify and prioritize issues.
    Ability to assist the guests with any request and communicate any issues with the office coordinator or supervisor.
    Must be personable and professional, capable of using caution and discretion in communication.

    Certificates/Licenses/RegistrationsAt the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

    A qualified candidate/employee must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company's insurance carrier.
