Accounting Supervisor

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead and coordinate the daily operations of the accounting department.

Supervise and oversee the daily activities and performance of team members.
Conduct daily reconciliations of bank transactions and provide timely updates to upper management.
Audit posted financial transactions and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Conduct annual performance reviews with direct reports, developing and implementing performance improvement plans as needed.
Assist with the hiring process and provide training for new hires.
Reconcile daily transactions and perform ad hoc reconciliations as necessary.
Resolve billing discrepancies and address challenges by offering practical solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred, or equivalent work experience.
~3+ years of experience in an accounting role.
~ Solid knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
~ Experience managing a team of at least 3 staff members.
~ Training and development experience.
~ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
