- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Creating capacity models and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis of the bank's operational performance
- Preparing reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitoring key financial metrics and providing recommendations for strategic financial decisions.
- Collaborating with other departments to support budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in banking and finance.
- Assisting with reporting for compliance requirements.
- Participating in special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies across Operations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, preferred.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software applications.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- A commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

Summary:
The Operations Financial Analyst will be responsible for interpreting results and making recommendations to Operations management to optimize financial performance. The position will also be responsible for the following: supporting strategic financial initiatives by providing insight and analyses; preparing and interpreting financial/capacity models, identifying expense reduction opportunities through review of reports, ad-hoc analysis, and management reports.
