Caropractor is a family-owned and operated autobody shop located in Aurora, serving the Metro area since 1998. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and reliable individual to work alongside our technicians and office team. POSITION IS MULTI-FACETED. Detailing and shop helper. Well-qualified candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities.
Benefits:
- Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (NO WEEKENDS)
- 48 hours paid time off annually - begins accruing after 90 days
- 6 paid holidays
- Additional 40 hours paid time off after 5 years of employment
- QSEHRA (health reimbursement) - eligible after 90 days
Position Description:
- Participate in morning meeting
- Move/park vehicles at start and end of day
- Check-in vehicles, take photos, perform pre and post scans
- Thorough and high quality interior and exterior detail of all repaired vehicles
- Buff, polish and color sand refinished panels as necessary
- Maintain a tidy and clean shop environment - empty ALL trash bins
- Final QC of vehicle prior to delivery
- Order detail supplies
- Laundering of detail towels and cloths
Requirements:
- 2 years auto detailing experience
- 2 years professional polishing, sanding and buffing experience
- Highly-motivated, driven and able to follow direction
- Reliable and punctual
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision
- Communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Tidy and organized
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred (not required):
- Previous autobody industry experience and/or certifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
