- Data entry, record keeping, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- General ledger account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records for construction in progress and intercompany transactions
- Create, update and maintain accurate schedules for construction projects and real estate
- Maintain and organize electronic and paper files
- Financial statement preparation
- Annual 1099 preparation and reporting
- Prioritize all assigned tasks and projects so that they are completed in a timely manner or by assigned deadlines
- High level attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Provide continuous support to the construction team in a timely and efficient manner
- Professional and efficient communication with all BLE team members
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in accounting with a graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025
- Ability to work a minimum twenty hours per week Monday through Friday during semesters and minimum thirty hours per week between semesters
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite - Excel, Outlook, Word
- Basic proficiency in QuickBooks
- Previous accounting experience or internship a plus
