    This Corporation has scheduled a full-scale demonstration of a proprietary abrasion and impact resistant thermoplastic coating for the United States Navy.

    The coating is intended for application to the underside of US Navy Riverine patrol vessels to protect them against damage from unseen underwater hazards.


    The Navy's current solution, while somewhat effective, involves a welded aluminum plate and thus requires substantial repair base dry dock time if maintenance or repairs are needed.

    The coating solution has tested and shown advanced durability, simple evaluation, and fast local base repair. These advantages boost mission readiness and availability and provide enhanced protection for critical field resources in river operation.

    • BSEE or MSEE (ABET Accredited), or equivalent engineering discipline
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer
    • Design and simulation of control systems
    Job Responsibilities


    • Participate in the product definition stage of the product life cycle by providing detailed input on, and developing, electrical and software/firmware system requirements and design documentation.
    • Additional activities for the Controls Engineer will include developing and supporting in-house automated product testers, as well as data acquisition projects for product development and testing.
