- Provide 24-hour orthopedic call coverage for the ER at a hospital with trauma designation.
- Cover all general orthopedic procedures.
- Be comfortable seeing your own patients for follow-up in clinic while on-call, typically following your own patients after procedures.
- Manage general orthopedic surgery call cases, including fractures, dislocations, and issues related to the knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow.
- Follow up with your own patients the following day in clinic or see on-call patients for a few hours in the morning on most weekdays once acclimated.
- Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- EMR system: Cerner.
- Must either have or be willing to immediately obtain a California temporary Fluoroscopy permit.
