    Co-location: Candidates be located in the Washington DC Metro Area. Candidate required to support at client site location (DC) on a hybrid basis. Candidates will not be considered if you do not meet these criteria. Description (Position 1)
    GridIron IT is seeking Data Engineers to be part of a team focused on supporting the development of a new capability for an I&A mission customer


    Duties:

    • Assists the I&A Program Managers and CORs by leading the contractor's direct support in the day-to-day operations for I&A network hardware and operating systems.
    • This includes network modeling and optimization and infrastructure evaluations, conducting assessments, reviews, analyses, and studies regarding emerging technologies, and performing systems engineering analyses directly related to data management operations.
    • Gathers requirements for future microservices and graph databases to operate in multiple cloud environments.
    • Assists in the review and assessment of business processes, organizational structure, controls, and the use of performance measurement baselines.
    • The Senior Engineer shall have at least five (5) years of experience providing senior engineering support in a TS/SCI cloud environment. Description (Position 2)

    GridIron IT is looking for a Data Engineer with Cloud Expertise to support a new Zero Trust Project that falls within our support of the Chief Data Officer at DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis.

    This individual will help the team implement Zero Trust maturity recommendations across the portfolio of application development and data analytics projects


    Duties:


    The team member will develop a plan and complete all data architecture and cloud engineering tasks to harden I&A's architecture environments (microservices and data layer) specifically related to current and future data stores and data catalog in the Top-Secret Data Hub (TSDH) and implement Zero Trust measures that deliver the desired outcomes for each of the seven pillars.

    GridIron IT is seeking Data Engineers in support of the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) at DHS, this role will be part of a team focused on supporting the development of a new capability for an I&A mission customer


    Duties:

    • Develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solution
    • Develop and maintain artifacts i.e. schemas, data dictionaries, and transforms related to ETL processes
    • Integrate data pipelines with AWS cloud services to extract meaningful insights
    • Manage production data within multiple datasets ensuring fault tolerance and redundancy
    • Design and develop robust and functional dataflows to support raw data and expected data
    • Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and dataflows
    • Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications
    • Collaborate with the rest of data engineering team to design and launch new features. Includes coordination and documentation of dataflows, capabilities, etc.
    Keen interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real world problem sets vital to national security Skills:
     Database administration and development experience will be a plus for consideration.
