- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
- Operates with goals set by the DVP/Senior Director of Category.

- BA or equivalent experience required.
- Successful, 24 years track record within procurement and supply chain management
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or similar certification desirable
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is desirable.
- 2-4 years of Engineering and/or Procurement and /or deep Category experience.
- Strong functional experience preferably with the knowledge of mechanical engineering skills.
- Strong project management skills.

- Strong interdisciplinary, intercultural, influence, and networking skills
- International experience

The opportunity
Design to Cost Engineer is responsible for developing analyses and opportunities using their mechanical engineering skills. This Engineer will work with multiple Abbott businesses to secure the product supply, reduce costs, increase yields, value engineer products, solidifying the Abbott Labs supply chain.
