    Arconic Tennessee Operations is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer for our Tennessee Operations facility. The incumbent will provide engineering support to maintenance and operations. The successful incumbent will support safety, restoring product flow, providing technical solutions to recurring design and process problems, analyze equipment and process data to identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions and system improvements to address those opportunities. This person will also develop, manage, and implement capital projects, major repairs and maintenance projects and provide some process engineering support.

    Qualifications for Internal Candidates

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an electrical engineering field
    • Minimum of 1 years' experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles
    • Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with ladder logic and programming/troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Rockwell and Allen Bradley PLC experience is preferred
    • Experience specifying, installing and troubleshooting DC and AC motor drives systems.
    • Experience with networking equipment, installation, troubleshooting and commissioning. (ideally as it pertains to Automation Communication).
    • Experience with power distribution systems.
    • Manufacturing experience in the metals or similar industry, with aluminum rolling or processing preferred.
    • Experience with rolling mills and mill controls, shears, strip processing and coiling, metal process furnaces or casting equipment
    • Technical knowledge to support the installation, operation, and repair of electrical controls and automation technology
    • Previous experience with data acquisition systems and data analytics
    • Experience in justifying, managing and executing capital projects.
    • Strong written and oral communications skills.
    • Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills.
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.​
