Insight Global is seeking a Secret Senior Systems Engineer to join a team for a large government contracting company in Colorado Springs, CO.

This team supports a DoD customer by maintaining and sustaining ground-based radars crucial for strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions.

On a day to day basis, this Systems Engineer will collaborate with the government customer, Program Manager, and Chief Engineer to plan, develop, and deliver hardware and software modifications for PARCS and UEWR radars in response to change requests and deficiency reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience with developing national security no-fail mission systems and Strategic Warning Surveillance Radar Systems.

This will be a hybrid role on site 2-3 days a week and will be a 9 month contract to hire.

Required Skills & Experience

• Active DoD Secret Clearance

-5+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering role

• Experience with requirements development using DOORs and other requirements management tools
• Domain background in weapon systems, early warning radars, missile defense (e.

g PARCS, UEWR, PAWS, PAVE)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Hands on experience with space domain awareness tools
• Experience with Model based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.

g Cameo or SysML)

• Experience leading large scale Agile or SecDevOps teams/projects, encompassing cost estimation, baseline and risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring, and reporting.
