Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Archbold Living Cairo Position Description

Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED preferred Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program Certification in Basic Life Support

Experience:
Entry level, experience in long term care a plus

Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills. Competency in basic patient care. Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace as essential functions of the job. Honesty and maintaining a professional composure in public are important aspects of the job.


Physical Demands:
Good physical and mental health, ability to lift with or without assistance as needed/required

Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Core:
Maintains safe environment for patients/residents, co-workers and self. Assumes responsibility for organization of assigned duties, providing care for patients/residents ages pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Utilizes appropriate nursing skills to provide nursing care to residents. Assures that the rights of residents are implemented.
