    Description

    Overview:


    As the Program Director, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating positive interactions and managing the relationships between our students and tutors.

    Your primary objective is to ensure a supportive and conducive learning environment for all involved parties.


    Responsibilities:


    Act as a point of contact for students and tutors, addressing inquiries, scheduling sessions, and resolving any issues that may arise.

    Coordinate and manage tutoring schedules to ensure efficient utilization of resources and meet the needs of students.

    Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of volunteer tutors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.

    Maintain accurate records of student progress, tutor availability, and session outcomes for reporting and evaluation purposes.

    Collaborate with the Executive Director to maintain and update databases of students, volunteers, and donors.

    Input financial data into Exceed for donors and prepare donor acknowledgments.

    Assist in mass mailings, including printing, assembly, and distribution for various campaigns, recruiting and scheduling volunteers as needed.

    Conduct regular check-ins with students and tutors to assess progress, provide support, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.


    Assist with the organization and running of fundraisers, as well as events for tutors and students, to foster community engagement and support organizational goals.

    Assist in the acquisition and dissemination of educational resources and materials to support tutoring sessions and learning objectives.

    Perform office and administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth functioning of the organization.


    Skills and Qualifications:
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships.

    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

    Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the growth and development of others.

    Previous experience in student or volunteer coordination, education, or related fields is preferred.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


    Education and Experience:
    High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, or a related field is preferred.

    Prior experience working with students, volunteers, or community organizations is advantageous.

    Pay:
    $15.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 20 per week
