- A technical consultant and project lead that organizes, directs and manages major integrated operations supporting background investigation functions and services. This involves multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks across the multi-disciplinary fields of federal background investigations and operations, threat coordination, risk management, quality review, customer support and related subject matter areas as they pertain to federal background investigations and federal vetting.
- Independently responsible and overseeing the day- to-day operations across the full spectrum of background investigations operationalize new data records, sources and capabilities that will support federal background investigations and operations.
- Planning, implementation, execution, evaluation of enhanced business processes using Publicly Available Electronic Information (PAEI), including social media, into the background investigation. PAEI and other data sources, to include social media, are needed to respond to initial, random, and specific investigative actions in accordance with Security Executive Agent Directive 5 (SEAD-5) and are aligned to the Trusted Workforce 2.0 personnel vetting reforms required for DCSA to deliver high-quality, timely, and relevant investigative services supporting the trustworthiness of the United States Government's workforce.
