    Assistant Manager
    Maintenance

    Overview
    Coordinate and oversee the 2nd Shift Maintenance operations at an international Tier 1 automotive supplier, located in Jackson, TN. You will be directing the maintenance activities of 2-supervisors and 7-Maintenance Technicians focused on achieving high OEE readiness for the production equipment in the Stamping and Welding Departments.

    Key Duties

    • Manage maintenance of production equipment, infrastructure, and utilities.
    • Direct and coordinate activities of team members engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
    • Directs preventive maintenance program on critical equipment and address maintenance and tool room issues with team members.
    • Schedule work and allocate manpower to achieve optimal efficiencies.
    • Coordinate predictive and preventative maintenance and train and mentor team.
    • Ensure safety and quality standards are achieved in all operations and projects.
    • Manage equipment, parts, and supplies requisitions, while effectively managing spare parts inventory.
    • Ensure adherence to operational policies.
    • Participate in cost-cutting and product improvement discussions and initiatives.
    • Promote continuous improvement.
    • Uphold company policies.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's in Business, Industrial Technology, or related field.
    • Experience: 6+ years in maintenance with 2 years in leadership. Experience in automotive interiors including carpets, filters, powertrain, seating, and/or trim is preferred.
    • Skills:
      • Knowledge in PLC troubleshooting required and experience in PLC programming is desirable.
      • Proven leadership with industrial maintenance troubleshooting experience is required.
      • The ability to read blueprints, machine drawings and interpret technical documents is a critical part of the job.
      • Working knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, fabrication, hydraulics, injection molding, mechanical drives, pneumatics, robotics, stamping, welding, assembly, and conveyor systems.
      • Proficient in cross-functional collaboration.
      • Working knowledge and experience with the Toyota Production System preferred.
    • Computer Skills: Previous experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications. ERP System experience (e.g., Oracle) preferred. A working knowledge and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products are required.

    Compensation/Benefits
    The base compensation is dependent on the individual and skills they bring to the job. My client wants a top-quality individual and the base ranges from $95,000 to $120,000, plus bonus.
