    PAY:
    $130,000 - $155,000


    JOB SUMMARY:
    Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

    Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network and system problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.

    Secures network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access. Report network operational status to the government. Performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, and documentation. Creates and maintains circuit drawings and configurations. Participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases. Performs technical solutions for customer requirements.

    Applies higher level of business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solution.

    CO PRIMARY DUTIES:
    Establish networking environments by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards

    Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network and system problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.

    Secures network systems by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access
    Resolve interoperability problems to ensure operations across all network equipment
    Act as a technical project leader and provides work leadership for lower level employees
    Establish and sustain the communications and computer architecture/infrastructure and configurations
    Configure, install, identify, assess and mitigate vulnerabilities of fiber, Ethernet and fast Ethernet networks and troubleshoot and restore systems (servers, desktops, laptops, peripherals, scanners, plotters and printers)
    Develop Communication System Requirement Document (CSRD) technical solutions and Information Systems Installation Records (CSIR) annually to provide network, computer system, financial, installation, outside agency coordination, information assurance and customer assistance
    Perform network/communications design and implementation for mission and exercise/experiment operations
    Develop/find technical solutions and work plans that are consistent with architectural and information system security guidelines
    Creates and maintains circuit drawings and configurations
    Provide all technical network and systems engineering expertise to the Government
    Participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases
    Performs tests, experiments, implementations, and system support of components and capabilities
    Report network operational status to the Government
    Provide network technical support
    Additional duties as assigned


    REQUIREMENTS:
    Technical network and systems engineering experience


    RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
    10 years of experience in network engineering and management EDUCATION/


    CERTIFICATION:
    High School Diploma. IAT Level 2 certification.


    SECURITY CLEARANCE:
    Top Secret/SCI
