    We are looking for a physical therapist to join our FYZICAL clinic in Portland, Maine. New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply. The position is perfect for an energetic PT who seeks skill-set specialization and ongoing support and education, in a fun and rewarding work environment. You bring the heart and drive, and we provide the tools and supportive culture. You will work in a dynamic setting with outstanding physical resources, as well as a clinical and administrative support that allows you to effectively treat patients while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

    Practice Highlights:

    • A brand-new and unique facility, locally owned by Otolaryngologists passionate about patient care, teamwork, and clinical collaboration with our therapists
    • We specialize in balance and vestibular therapy in addition to providing other physical therapy services including orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, concussion evaluation/rehabilitation, and pelvic floor therapy
    • Neuro experience is helpful but not required, and we would like to emphasize that training is provided
    • Opportunities to attend hands-on courses, with ongoing support through a robust catalog of online resources and training modules within a large FYZICAL PT community.

    Schedule:

    • Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week (part-time opportunities are also available)

    Required Skills
    • Graduate of a CAPTE approved physical therapy program (bachelors, masters or doctorate in physical therapy)
    • Current Maine state physical therapist licensure
    • No prior experience in balance/vestibular therapy or pelvic floor therapy is needed, as training is provided
    • Flexibility and willingness to learn new approaches to patient care and management, guided by FYZICAL's unique protocols
    • Strengths include effective communication/organization, ability to work in a team based setting, and proactive approach to problem solving
