    Description
    Due to growth our client is looking for a recently degreed Product Design Engineer. They are foundry operation making parts for aerospace, medical devices, defense, and industrial equipment. The company is located between Madison and Milwaukee. Career growth and rewarding challenges are part of the offering.

    be a US Citizen due to defense contracts

    What you will be doing:

    • Responsible for select customer product lines from new product development, molds and tooling design, to order review, to initial production, to continuous improvement activities of established products.
    • Create manufacturing routings and bill-of-materials to create a finished parts that meets customer requirements and specifications.
    • Work with Customers, Process Engineers, Quality, Sales, and Operations to support product line improvements.
    • Deliver excellent customer service. Support efforts to identify and implement technical market strategies and aid in in new business development.

    What they are looking for:
    BS in Mechanical Engineering

    3 to 7 years of experience in design is needed

    Good 3D CAD skills, they use SolidWorks

    Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills are important in this role

    You must be a person who desires to learn and will fully embrace the projects you are working on

    Any experience in foundry / casting operation is a plus

    Experience with quality systems, GD&T and Lean Manufacturing are pluses
