    Job Summary:

    The Estimator role at Miner Ltd. involves preparing detailed estimates based on construction drawings and specifications. This includes evaluating materials, labor, and equipment needs, as well as analyzing quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.



    Key Job Responsibilities:
    • Provide detailed estimates for assigned scope areas
    • Act as a liaison between subcontractors, design teams, and clients
    • Prepare bids and proposals for various contract types
    • Conduct value analysis studies for cost-effective alternatives
    • Coordinate with project teams to ensure comprehensive scope coverage
    • Review subcontractor proposals and calculate job costs
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Key Performance Measurements:
    • Number of Qualified Bids
    • Observations on attitude, diligence, and team contributions
    • Other metrics set by Miner Corp leadership

    Requirements:

    • Experience in estimating large-scale commercial projects
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
    • Familiarity with interpreting contract documents and project schedules
    • Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Successful completion of criminal history background check
    • Ownership of reliable transportation


    Physical Demands:

    The job may require wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), carrying tools, and handling various tasks. Individuals must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have specific vision abilities.



    Work Environment:

    Employees may work in diverse settings, including warehouses, manufacturing plants, and remote locations. The work environment might involve exposure to high voltage power and moderate to high levels of noise.
