Job summary
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Rehab Assistant or an Associate Behavioral Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. The role provides hands-on experience in direct patient care and structured training and supervision to help develop behavioral health intervention skills.This position offers meaningful opportunities to deepen expertise and apply creative interventions across a wide range of mental health needs. Responsibilities include contributing to the care and safety of psychiatric patients under direction and control of psychiatric staff, monitoring safety whereabouts of all residents in facility observing reporting patient behaviors clinical staff interacting with patients delivering documenting specific rehabilitative services adult patients implementing rehabilitation interventions direction licensed clinical staff ensuring cleanliness appearance facility depending setting responsible medication distribution.
