- Maintaining multiple client relationships and providing consulting and accounting services in a proactive manner
- Preparing and analyzing accounting records and financial statements
- Preparing/reviewing bank reconciliations and other account analysis
- Helping clients with closing the books and creating adjusting journal entries
- Assisting clients in getting their books and records in good financial order
- Preparing timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting workpapers
- Assisting the business with understanding and implementing internal controls and key business management policies
- Supervision of staff and ability to be a "go-to" resource for staff and clients
- Becoming a Trusted Business Advisor to your clients
- QuickBooks Online and Desktop experience, ProAdvisor a plus
- Experience with QuickBooks project consulting, training and implementations
- Experience in compilations and reviews
- Experience in preparing and analyzing accounting records and financial statements
- Ability to work with multiple clients, staff and managers
- Prior advisory and supervision experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or associate's degree with appropriate experience
- 3+ years accounting experience, public accounting experience desired, minimally as a full-charge bookkeeper
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of excel and word
- Ability to multi-task and meet or exceed deadlines
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
- Strong time management, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

OVERVIEW
The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Business Advisory Services client engagement team. This individual leads most engagements with supervision from a Supervisor or Partner. The Senior Accountant is tasked with reviewing staff work and providing outstanding client service to our Business clients.
