    Caregiver – Care Companion

    We are looking for a Caregiver to join our Care Companions team to assist with providing non-medical in-home care to clients. If you're seeking a rewarding career, then Unity is the place for you Here, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference and create genuine connections with patients, bringing kindness and compassion to their daily lives.

    Schedule: Part-time 10-15 hours a week, and every other weekend required. Shifts will be 3 hours or more in length with evening hours are preferred. Roughly 3-4 shifts per week. The schedule can be flexible with your prior commitments.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    Unity Care Companion Caregiver staff can perform services and support in the following areas: Daily living activities, personal care, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, running errands, transportation, and companionship.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Ability to be on time for visits and complete tasks as scheduled.

    Ability to follow client and Program directions.

    Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and cooperatively with others.

    Requirements:

    Education/Experience

    High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

    Previous caregiving, homemaking or personal care work preferred but not required.

    CNA or Personal Care Worker experience preferred but not required.

    Valid driver's license, auto insurance and access to a reliable vehicle.

    Must be at least 18 years of age.
