    Description

    We are working with a globally known organization who is looking for a new Engineering Director at one of their most important contracts. This new position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented engineering leader to make a significant impact within the healthcare sector in San Francisco. The position involves managing the maintenance and engineering of multiple hospitals and managing up to 80 engineers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a team of engineers across multiple sites in the San Francisco area
    • Develop and implement engineering strategies to support the company's goals and objectives
    • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of healthcare-related products and systems
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure that engineering projects are aligned with overall company objectives
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the engineering department
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of engineering staff and provide mentorship and guidance as needed
    • Ensure that engineering projects are completed on time and within budget
    • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in healthcare engineering to drive continuous improvement

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
    • 10+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
    • Previous experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred
    • Strong project management and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
    • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously
    • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
    • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards in the healthcare industry
