    $68, $109,302.35

    Job Description:

    Advanced position responsible for managing the implementation, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and administration of multiple enterprise applications and services. Demonstrates understanding of how software behaves to assist in configuring and troubleshooting systems.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Monitor vendor support tickets, troubleshoot, and resolve cases in a timely manner according to service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Provide acknowledgement, updates, and resolution to end users' application support requests.
    • Assist with coordinating and meeting with staff members from various departments to determine their OPAL and Community Plus needs.
    • Assist with preparing alternative options by reviewing current state and evaluating alternative solutions.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimizing peak performance and utilization of supported applications.
    • Develop and maintain application-specific documentation for business unit and technical support of systems.
    • Contribute to analysis, design, and evaluation enterprise applications, including development of RFPs.
    • Use analytical skills to troubleshoot, identify data quality and reporting issues.
    • Perform database queries on questionable user transactions and report to respective manager/director.
    • Contributes to policy recommendations on Department issues and programs to the IT Director.
    • Assists in the support of business-critical systems including system modifications and maintenance.
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Carry out such other projects as may be required to accomplish organization and department mission by completing related results as needed.
    • Performs other related job duties as assigned.
    • In the event of special, emergency, or disaster situations, employee may be required to work schedules other than those for which they are regularly scheduled in any capacity deemed appropriate.
    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement. 2 years minimum prior related work experience.

    Special Qualifications:

    Certifications in Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, or DB2 strongly desired.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Ability to perform professional-level work dealing with data, people, and technology that relates to administrative, technical, scientific, engineering, accounting, legal, or managerial skills.
    • Ability to follow basic guidelines for operational activities; make decisions that govern the activities and behaviors of staff members. Work directly impacts other workers, citizens, or both.
    • Ability to have guidelines for work but determine the approach for doing the work; supervisor focuses on outcomes of the work.
    • Ability to work with less than ten co-workers who are mostly engaged in the same activities.
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    The work is medium and requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:
    • Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
    • Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
    • Handling: Picking, holding, or otherwise working, primarily with the whole hand.
    • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discrimination in sound.
    • Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
    • Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. Occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
    • Manual Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
    • Mental Acuity: Ability to make rational decisions through sound logic and deductive processes.
    • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
    • Repetitive Motion: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
    • Speaking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word including the ability to convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately and concisely.
    • Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
    • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles.
    • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word including those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
    • Visual Acuity: Have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and/or extensive reading.
    • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
