    Job Title: Construction Associate Attorney

    Location: Denver - Glendale Area

    Type: Full-time, On-site preferred with some flexibility

    Experience: 1-5 years

    Overview: Our client is looking for an Associate Attorney specializing in Construction Defense. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients, primarily GCs, in a supportive environment focused on professional growth and development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle all aspects of litigation matters related to construction defense, representing primarily General Contractors (GCs).
    • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
    • Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to requests.
    • Attend hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings.
    • Collaborate with clients to address day-to-day challenges under various construction laws.
    • Participate in case strategy discussions and provide input on litigation tactics.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
    • Assist with drafting and revising contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents as needed.
    • Stay updated on developments in construction law and industry trends.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and admission to the Colorado Bar.
    • 1-5 years of experience in construction defense litigation.
    • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work well in a team environment.
