Senior Auto Claims Examiner - Cleveland, United States - King's Insurance Staffing

Our client has been experiencing continued growth and seeking to add a Senior Auto Liability/Bodily Injury Claims Examiners for their Maryland office. This person would be responsible for handling moderate to complex Auto Liability and Bodily Injury claims for losses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Responsibilities of this position include investigating claims through telephone, written correspondence, and/or personal contact with claimants, attorneys, insureds, witnesses and others having pertinent information.

• Process assigned claims and determine benefits due pursuant to the client contract.
• Analyzing policy terms to ensure that the coverage sought applies to the loss event
• investigating loss facts to determine liability and to rule out fraud
• Assessing appropriate damages and negotiating settlements
• Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
• Provide comprehensive, complete thorough analysis of coverage determination.
• Prepare detailed reports, review and prepare responsive correspondence to achieve settlement.

Requirements:

• 4 to 10+ years of Personal and/or Commercial Auto Liability claims experience.
• Must be well-versed in MD Law.
• Experience handling Bodily Injury claims is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the capability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and handle litigations and negotiations.

Salary/Benefits:

• $70,000 to $85,000+ annual base salary plus Bonus
