    Join Our Team as an Enterprise Storage Engineer at GEICO!


    The Enterprise Storage Engineer plays a crucial role in our organization, overseeing the integration of various storage solutions to create a robust system. This position involves planning, executing, and maintaining scalable storage solutions. We are looking for an innovative individual with extensive experience in different storage types, capable of maximizing each form's advantages in business scenarios.


    Position Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and manage high-availability storage solutions across various environments
    • Integrate multiple storage solutions efficiently to optimize performance and scalability
    • Analyze and optimize SAN environments for enhanced efficiency
    • Implement data protection and security protocols for all storage infrastructures
    • Collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions
    • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and maintenance
    • Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends
    • Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the team
    • Mentor junior team members in cloud infrastructure management

    Qualifications:

    • Deep understanding of various storage architectures and solutions
    • Proficiency in data management, storage protocols, and virtualization technologies
    • Experience with software-defined storage services and cloud environments
    • Knowledge of traditional storage technologies and scripting languages
    • Proven track record in data migration and troubleshooting storage issues
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    Required Experience:

    • Extensive experience in complex storage environments, focusing on SAN and SDS engineering
    • Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining high-availability storage systems
    • Proficiency in cloud storage solutions and data migration projects
    • Experience in disaster recovery operations and scaling storage in multi-tenant environments
    • Involvement in security protocols and collaborative development environments
    • History of engaging with OpenSource communities
    • Experience in software-defined storage solutions within cloud environments

    Desired Experience:

    • Professional software development and systems architecture experience
    • Working with cloud services and open-source frameworks
    • Technical leadership experience

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Certifications in cloud services or software-defined storage technologies are advantageous

    Annual Salary:

    $82,261,500.00
