This position will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
Assist customers in locating and selecting products based on their needs and preferences
Provide accurate and up-to-date product information to customers
Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, including handling cash and credit card payments
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management
Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and objectives
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic math and computer skills, including the ability to operate a cash register
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
