to provide
telemedicine inpatient roundings
for adult patients in a skilled nursing / rehabilitation setting in California. This is a
part-time, Saturday-only role
with a highly flexible workflow designed for efficiency and work-life balance.
This opportunity is ideal for pulmonologists looking to add a
consistent, low-burden weekend telehealth role
without weekday obligations or on-call requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
tele-pulmonology inpatient roundings
for adult patients in a skilled nursing / rehabilitation setting
Conduct patient evaluations, follow-ups, and pulmonary management via telemedicine
Complete all clinical notes and documentation
within 24 hours of each encounter
Collaborate as needed with on-site clinical staff to support patient care
Schedule & Workflow
Coverage Day:
Every Saturday
Schedule Flexibility:
No fixed start time
Providers may log in at any time on Saturday
All patients are typically seen in
one efficient session
Volume:
Average weekly patient volume; visits are generally brief and focused
Visit Length:
Typically minutes per patient
Once Saturday roundings are completed,
no additional coverage is required for the remainder of the week .

Comfortable providing inpatient-style care via telemedicine
Prior SNF or inpatient rounding experience preferred but not required
