    At ElectriCom, we strive to maintain a safe and efficient work environment for our employees. We are currently seeking an HSE Process Safety Specialist to join our team. As the HSE Process Safety Specialist, you will help ensure that various safety-related processes are maintained throughout the organization. In addition, this role will be instrumental in our maintenance department and facilities safety program.

    We are seeking a friendly and experienced individual who is passionate about safety and has a strong work ethic. This remote position that will report directly to the Safety and Risk Director and should strategically be based out of Midwest or Atlantic region (ideally Louisville, KY or Charlotte, NC area). The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have a strong attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Conduct regular job site safety observations for maintenance field technicians to ensure company policies and procedures adherence.
    • Schedule, guide, and conduct facility safety inspections in conjunction with regional safety professionals.
    • Manage various areas related to inspecting and the testing of safety devices, equipment, and/or PPE.
    • Assist in driving the subcontractor HSE management process.
    • Conduct safety training for current and new employees on various safety topics required by OSHA or ElectriCom.
    • Procedural development for maintenance department tasks.
    • Conduct incident investigations to determine the root cause and be able to communicate findings effectively to key stakeholders.
    • Interact frequently with those in leadership roles regarding the ElectriCom safety program to effectively facilitate building a positive safety culture.
    • Prepare technical reports that assist in influencing key stakeholders.
    • Help maintain and publish KPIs related to maintenance or subcontractor activities.
    • Prioritize work and travel schedules as appropriate.
    • Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing of his/her work activities with direction from the Safety and Risk Director.

    Position Requirements
    • An associate or bachelor's degree in a safety-related area is preferred.2+ years of relevant work experience in the HSE profession or one of its specialties is preferred.
    • Must have strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office programs such as Excel).
    • OSHA 511 or 501 certified highly desirable.
    • Instructor Certification in First Aid, CPR highly desirable.
    • Must be able to meet deadlines and contribute to a positive, safe, high-quality culture.
    • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be comfortable speaking in group settings.
    • Expected regional travel up to 50% of working days visiting job sites or facilities.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
    • Ability to pass background/drug screening before hiring.
