    The AWS Logging, Analytics, and AIOps team is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization that is leading the way in re-imagining the future of Observability powered by AI.

    We are looking for someone to support leaders in this organization based in Seattle, WA.


    This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling highly confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives and stakeholders.

    Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel for the leader.

    This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group as well as establish mechanisms and processes where necessary.

    On a daily basis, the Executive Assistant will maintain the Executive's calendar, keeping it organized for weeks in advance. This involves maintaining strong working relationships with the executives, partner EAs, and members of the business.

    Additionally, the Executive Assistant will partner with other team members on team events, space administration, and building a proactive outlook for upcoming meetings.


    AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations - from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry.

    As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

    Key job responsibilities

    This position has an in-office requirement.

    Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

    • Exceptional management of multiple complex calendars and scheduling requirements with diplomacy and discretion.
    • Manage costeffective domestic and international travel with detailed travel itineraries (including smooth transitions between time zones) and submit expense reports in a timely fashion.
    • Organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle timesensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner.
    • Partner with leaders to understand their priorities and build processes to make their organizations happier and more effective.
    • Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, onsites/offsites, team social events, etc.)
    • Manage group logistics and team space (including moves and reconfigurations)
    • Collaborate with Recruiting teams, Facilities teams, HR teams, and other Executive Assistants within the AWS and Amazon communities.
    • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items.
    • Serve as a bridge or intermediary between the leadership team and their direct reports. Facilitate communication and coordination between these groups.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 5+ years of executive assistant experience
    • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
    • Experience with executive level calendar management
    Preferred Qualifications

    • 7+ years of senior level leadership support experience
    • Experience in a fastpaced, hightech company
    • Experience working with large global teams
    • Experience leading process improvements
    • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

    The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.

    Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
