Description

1. Create application package in MSI and/or Virtual format (App-V 5.0) for Windows (Desktops & Citrix) and Casper packages for Mac.
2. Deploying packages through SCCM to production and global users.
3. Assist in handling internal packaging QA process
4. Perform complete end to end packaging activities include source validation till deployment and production support
5. Engage internal customer to obtain packaging requirements and create technical documents with solutions to meet requirements and scale to large environment.
6. Ensure prerequisites or dependencies as well as BlackRock packaging/deployment standards are accounted for in the solution delivered.
7. Engage Application Owner/Developer/Vendor to assist with technical configuration when necessary.
8. Handle multiple requests to ensure all packages are delivered within SLA & meet the business emergencies.
9. Perform internal testing/quality assurance to ensure package complies with standards.
10. Coordinate testing and User Acceptance Signoff with application owner.
11. Remediate issues discovered during testing or deployment.
12. Stage deployments to the target audience using SCCM for Windows or Casper for Mac.
13. Create change requests in change management system when applicable.
14. Provide L3 level support on package functionality or deployment issues in production.
15. Engage with project teams as needed to provide packaging and deployment support.
