Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client's team as Ultrasound Technologist - RDMS Registered. You will perform medically prescribed ultrasound procedures.

Job Description

• Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Service Standards and incorporates them into the performance of duties.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to radiology.
• Effectively assess patient's information and status and follows appropriate procedure(s) accordingly.
• Independently implements patients' procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards.
• Demonstrates skill in equipment set-up, utilization, and proper maintenance procedure.
• Directs and monitors student clinical training.
• Performs all duties and tasks assigned by Supervisor and/or Designee.

Skills Required

• 1 year General Registered Ultrasound experience

Education/Training/Certifications

• Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by American Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.
• BLS preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Malpractice Insurance - All clinical workers are required to have active individual Medical Malpractice. A copy must be provided prior to start of assignment. All clinical workers licensed by the state of NY are required to provide.
• Shift: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pay Rate

• $67.00 per hour
