Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate press break machines and other equipment as required by daily activities requirements.
Run forming operations using standard and custom punches.
Use a CNC controller to input information into machine that pertain to the part being formed.
Adjust ram and back gauge positions as neededChecks height, depth, and thickness using calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments.
Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake.
Work with customer tolerances to meet specifications.
Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
Perform spot inspections of parts.
Perform general maintenance on press brakes as neededComplete and maintain paperwork.
Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel).Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned.
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Operation Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:3 years experience with setting up and operating Press BrakeHigh school diploma or equivalent.3 years experience in a metal manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints.

Ability to use measuring instruments (e. g. gauges, micrometers, calipers).Must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to machining problems.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand entire shiftRequires routine lifting, bending, leaning, kneeling, etc.
