Responsibilities:

As a School Occupational Therapist (OT), you will play a crucial role in supporting students' functional development and participation in educational activities. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting prehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
Providing direct intervention and therapeutic activities to improve students' functional abilities.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to student support.
Modifying classroom environments and providing assistive technology remendations.
Monitoring students' progress and adjusting therapy goals as needed.
Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing input for goal development.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington.
Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable.
Strong clinical and assessment skills.
Excellent munication and collaboration abilities.
