POSITION: Data Warehouse Engineer

LOCATION: 12254 Bellflower Blvd., Downey, CA 90242(Remote West Coast/Pacific Time Zone. Southern California/local)

DURATION: 9+ months, with potential to extend.

Pay: $50-52/hr on W2 (No C2C)

Visa: US Citizen/ Green Card/ H4 EAD (No OPTs/CPT)

Any Travel for this role? 10% - very infrequent; this would only be if an onsite meeting is required at the Bellflower Office.

Required Level of Education and Preferred Level of Education: Bachelors degree in computer information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.

How many years of related experience are you looking for in your ideal candidate?

7+ years of overall IT field experience required.

5+ years of experience in advanced analytics solution architecture, standardizing and building enterprise level data analysis solutions in complex environment required.

Specific Systems Knowledge Required:

Hands on experience with modern Data Warehousing, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, Power BI and Tableau.

Programming experience with scripting languages such as Python, SQL and PowerShell is required.

Deep understanding of industry patterns for advanced analytics architecture and integration.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Health care industry experience is a big plus.

Job Description:

The Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining the enterprise analytics systems and environment to solve business challenges which includes the following:

Design, develop, architect and implement MS SQL Server Analysis Services, Azure Analysis Services and/or SQL Server Integration Services to improve and enhance enterprise analytics systems and environment.

Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure that technology decisions related to advanced analytics and blueprints align with the overall enterprise architecture framework.

Establish and maintain analytics environments required for Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Data Science, Business Intelligence, structured and unstructured data.

Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to advanced analytics solutions.

Facilitate and participate in identification of advanced analytics solution options and features.

Communicate solution options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g. data analytics architecture reviews).
