Senior Research Analyst CharlotteThe Senior Research Analyst will join the JLL Research team in Charlotte to build and continue to elevate a best-in-class research program that differentiates JLL.
You will be primarily responsible for collecting, maintaining, analyzing, and constantly elevating our data quality, and working with the across all JLL teams to present data compellingly.
The Senior Research Analyst will assist in tracking and analyzing all aspects of the local commercial real estate market, economic drivers and demographics and will leverage that knowledge proactively for research products, client projects, and business development efforts.

Closely monitor the Charlotte commercial real estate market, including data related to properties, leases, tenants, availabilities, developments, sales and owners
Become an expert on the local economy, job and industry makeup, demographics and local market company growth to tell a compelling story about the local market
Communicate data excellence and insights via traditional reporting products and the use of advanced data visualization tools, including JLLs new and proprietary technology
Actively contribute to JLLs internal data management system and adopt or discover new creative uses for its content and visualization tools
Publish quarterly market reports on certain property types in the Charlotte market
Partner with brokerage leaders to contribute to business development efforts and grow the business
Contribute to client presentations by covering market intelligence, trends, and statistics
Develop strong relationships with internal and external clients and facilitate the use of research as a differentiator including being client-facing and externally focused on new business efforts
Keep track and inform brokerage leaders of local and national commercial real estate news
Regularly update current tenant information for essential properties in the market
Desired skills and experience for this job
Bachelors degree preferred and 2+ years professional experience desired; can be in economics, consulting, real estate, economic development, urban planning, or other related fields
Demonstrated passion in real estate with a strong commitment to learning micro- and macro-level market dynamics
Tableau experience preferred
GIS experience preferred (ArcGIS Online, etc.)
Strong quantitative skillset with the ability to identify new insights and trends through data analytics
Collaborative attitude and willingness to both work independently and as part of a team
Organized and proactive approach
Ability to multitask, be resilient, and effectively manage time and workload
Effective written communication and oral presentation skills
Strong organizational, data collection, validation, and auditing skills
Analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and written and oral communication skills
Ability to execute and professionally meet client expectations and positively represent the firm
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and database systems
