- Investigates and resolves computer software and hardware problems
- Respond to queries either in person, remotely, or over the phone.
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems, VOIP telephone system, and various SAAS to meet the operational tech needs of the school.
- Respond to email messages for staff seeking help.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software including windows updates.
- Create student user accounts, distribution, and security groups in Microsoft 365.
- Manage computer setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
- Assist with onboarding of new staff orienting them to school communication systems and assisting them to set up MFA.
- Helps to develop and follow policies and procedures for school incident response, cyber security threats, and vulnerabilities, working with contracted cybersecurity partners.
- Run diagnostic programs to identify and resolve problems.
- Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving or escalating tickets promptly.
- Maintains and updates computer images on all makes and models.
- Provides technical assistance and training to staff.
- Troubleshoots multifunction network printers, maintain user accounts for printing/scanning - contact technical support when necessary.
- Respond to additional IT tasks assigned by the School Operations Supervisor
- Help to maintain IT inventory log
- Works with agency leadership and IT MSP to create and implement IT related policies and procedures.
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Preferred: 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification/Licenses: Comp TIA AA+, Network+, Security + (Preferred)
- General Skills: Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to write effective written communication. Ability to speak effectively one on one or with groups of employees of organization. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously, but also able to recognize when a project or task is beyond your knowledge level. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities. Ability to ask questions and get information in order to diagnose computer problems and discern what level of support is needed when a problem is presented. Attention to detail. Highest level of integrity and work ethic.
- Computer Skills: Ability to troubleshoot common computer hardware and software issues including basic network issues; Knowledge of Windows-server infrastructure and Active Directory environments, Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 8 and 10, as well as knowledge of Server 2016, experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.

Serendipity Center, a private therapeutic school, provides specialized education and treatment to children and adolescents who lack the skills, confidence, and/or support to be successful learners. Annually Serendipity serves a variety of students, aged 6 to 21, and their families.What makes us different? Being a private non-profit, all the support and resources are right here on campus, in addition to having small class sizes, Teachers are provided with an in- classroom Program Assistant, and 1-2 additional Instructional Assistants minimum. Outside of the classroom a team of Behavioral Interventionists, Clinical Case Managers, SLP's, SPED Coordinators, MTSS Supervisors, an Art Therapist, Transition Coordinator, Therapeutic Adaptive Recreation Teacher, and a Therapeutic Garden Educator all add to our rich program.

SUMMARY
The IT Coordinator works with the School Operations Supervisor, and the IT MSP to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. This position is a 37.5 hour/week, benefited position.
