    Cardiac Cath Specialist - Cardiac Cath SpecialistJob Details:

    • Work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
    • Assist physicians with obtaining digital radiographic images of heart, peripheral vessels and other structures
    • Control radiographic equipment to acquire quality images and set appropriate x-ray acquisition parameters
    • Practice radiation safety protocols using distance and protective attire
    • Perform daily room preparations, QCs, and equipment maintenance
    • Conduct in-room inventory and supply management according to JCAHO regulations
    • Document patient data for records, Apollo reporting, charge entry and image archive
    • Provide pre-, during, and post-procedure patient care with sterile techniques
    • Operate cardiac catheterization lab equipment including IVUS, Combo Map, ICE, HeartLab systems
    • Prepare scrub tables, prep patients, and prepare lines for injectable fluids
    • Monitor, record, evaluate and maintain patient information
    • Experience required in diagnostic catheterizations, interventional catheterizations, and peripheral diagnostic/interventional procedures
    • Must complete graduation from radiologic science program, special procedures program, nursing school, or cardiac catheterization course with transcripts required

    Required certification:
    ARRT in Radiation Therapy or Radiology, or RCIS certification through CCI
