Senior Developer

to join our team

This person will provide crucial support to the Customer Care Support Center (CCSC) Desk Support and Management services for a local government agency.

Duties may include writing code, analyzing data, and contributing to the design and implementation of software.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Utilize coding languages and frameworks to create scalable and efficient applications.
Provide technical leadership to a team of developers, ensuring collaboration, knowledge sharing, and adherence to project timelines.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand and analyze software requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality, adherence to coding standards, and security best practices.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, code documentation, and release notes.
Implement security best practices in software development, ensuring compliance with government security standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, quality assurance professionals, and other stakeholders, to ensure project success.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or others relevant to the project.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a development team effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with government security standards and compliance.
Proven experience as a senior developer in a government contracting environment.
