Automation & Controls Technician

Nationally ranked automation systems integrator seeks Automation Technician with over 3 years of experience in Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting and SCADA Pack troubleshooting and maintenance.

The successful candidate will be sound technically and able to work in a field maintenance role.

Duties and qualifications:

• AAS degree in engineering technology or similar
• Experience configuration & set up control systems in an industrial setting.
• PLC's, HMI's, SCADA, VFD troubleshooting experience (programming is a plus)
• Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Schneider Electric, Wonderware, GE, Modicon, Siemens, FactoryTalk
• Configuration of instruments
• SCADA Pack
• ABB Total Flow
• Allen Bradley
• Reviews schematics/plans
• Testing and electrical terminations
• Troubleshooting, repair, adjust programming during start up
• Willingness to travel to customer sites within 100 miles of Oakville.
• Ability to work well independently in the field
• Client interaction skills
