    Job Summary

    The Family Advocate in the LYNC Program will act as the main point of contact for youth and their families. Their role involves engaging and guiding youth and families throughout the program while delivering culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed services.

    • Liaison to families, parents, guardians, and community providers
    • Engage families to overcome barriers and enhance success
    • Guide families through treatment phases and connect to community resources
    • Complete intake assessments and develop recommendations
    • Collaborate with team on service meetings and aftercare planning
    • Provide strategic case management and skill development
    • Facilitate parent support groups and educate families on the court system
    • Maintain documentation compliance and participate in quality assurance activities
    • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include familiarity with case management, community resources, and office software; effective communication; and prioritization skills
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, or Human Services with at least 2 years of experience with justice-involved youth
    • Must be dependable and detail-oriented with a valid Driver's License
