Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse under the direction of a Registered Nurse implements the plan of care through the performance of appropriate clinical skills and adherence to established procedures with accurate documentation on all prescribed forms of the care provided.
Care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies, procedures, legal and regulatory standards. The LPN is able to prioritize work and recognize abnormalities through patient observation which are reportable to the RN. Consistent demonstration of all necessary competencies for the position assumed and unit assigned is required. Actively contributes to the evaluation of patient care and nursing practices through continuous quality improvement efforts. Accepts responsibility for personal growth through continuous learning. Fulfills responsibilities as an employee of St. Joseph Health Services of RI.Licensure:
Current RI LPN licensure, required.
Experience:
Five (5) years Endoscopy experience required.
